In February 2010, the Belgian Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP.be), the Belgian Association of Pharmaceutical Physicians (BeAPP), the Belgian Association of Phase 1 Units (Bapu), the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAGG/AFMPS) and pharma.be, the association of drugmakers, launched an initiative to promote Belgium as a location in which to conduct clinical trials.
