The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has opened a new representative office in Mexico City, Mexico, the body's 3rd post in Latin America after Chile and Costa Rica. The presence of the FDA in Mexico should strengthen existing regulatory ties between the countries, particularly since bilateral trade is already a commonality.
