Boehringer Ingleheim is outpacing the South Korean over-the-counter (OTC) medicine sector. The German company's sales increased 1.9% in the first half of 2008, while most other competitors experienced a downturn in revenue. Growth in South Korean OTC sales also exceeded that posted by Boehringer Ingleheim's global consumer healthcare division (+1.6%).
