Namibia is to follow South Africa's lead by rescheduling a number of medicines containing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine and d-norpseudoephedrine as prescription-only drugs. The new schedule will come into effect by the end of 2008. Neighbouring South Africa reclassified medicines containing ephedrine or its derivatives at the end of April
