Following a negative appraisal from the UK's National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), Roche is to lower the price of its non-small cell lung cancer treatment Tarceva (erlotinib). The drug was not found to be cost effective by the advisory body when compared with another already used treatment, Sanofi-Aventis' Taxotere
