Netherlands-based Royal Philips Electronics has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), making it the DHA's preferred partner in future projects. With Dubai in the process of overhauling its healthcare provision in order to implement a universal healthcare system between 2009 and 2015, BMI believes the deal could be extremely lucrative for Philips.
