Zimbabweans in major cities such as Harare and Bulawayo are flocking to rural health centres for treatment because facilities in rural areas have been slower to pass on price increases caused by hyperinflation. According to a survey conducted by the Zimbabwe Guardian, hospital consultation fees in urban areas are 10 times less at rural health centres operated by church missions that at most urban healthcare
