In a further sign of the pro-generic policy being imposed by the Polish government, the recently formed list of drugs eligible for reimbursement contains no new innovative medicines. It is, however, claimed that the savings from increased use of the low cost alternative therapies will be reinvested in funding treatments for chronic diseases.
