Chinese pharmaceutical R&D outsourcing firm Wuxi PharmaTech has revealed that revenue for 2007 reached US$135mn, an increase of 93%. Even more impressively, net income rose by 283% to US$34mn. BMI expects the darling of China's booming but frequently troubled pharmaceutical industry to continue this robust performance in 2008, especially following its purchase of a US-based rival in January 2008.
