Indian drugmaker Ranbaxy Laboratories has posted record annual financial results after strong sales in both developed and emerging markets. Revenue increased by 9.4% to US$1.69bn and profit rose by a very impressive 53.3% to US$201mn. BMI expects continued success for Ranbaxy in 2008 and beyond as the company consolidates its position and looks for new opportunities to drive growth.
