The governing parties in the Slovakian government - the Slovak National Coalition (SNC), Sociálna Demokracia (Smer) and the LS-HZDS - have found common ground concerning the bill to amend the Health Insurance Companies Act. The parties have all agreed on three provisions of the amendment and will subsequently back the bill its first parliamentary reading suggesting, as the government struggles to cut back its budget
