Czech healthcare firm Walmark is planning a significant expansion of its pharmaceutical division after it reached its strategic goal of becoming the leading manufacturer of nutritional supplements in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The company intends to ramp up exports and is looking to penetrate twenty new markets in Western Europe, the Middle East and Asia. BMI is fairly confident that Walmark will be able boost sales of pharmaceuticals and subsequently enjoy higher margins that cannot be provided by supplements.
