State-owned Malaysian pharmaceutical firm Pharmaniaga is expecting three of its core businesses - pharmaceuticals, health logistics and medical equipment - to experience double digit growth in 2007, as it attempts to turnaround a disappointing performance 2005. BMI welcomes this shift in operating strategy, which will include product roll outs, overseas expansion as well as attempts to further break its reliance on government procurement contracts.
