Staking a prominent claim in the pharmaceutical sector experiencing the strongest growth, Slovenian firm Lek - part of Swiss firm Novartis' Sandoz generics division - has started construction of a new biopharmaceutical development centre just outside the country's capital, Ljubljana. BMI sees the announcement as strongly positive for Lek, which posted robust financial results last
