Drugmakers in Argentina are entering new export markets as far afield as Yemen and Singapore, helping to reduce reliance on traditional markets in Latin America. The region still accounted for 70% of the country's pharmaceutical exports in 2005, but foreign sales dipped to just ARS496mn (US$163mn) in the year.
