South Africa's largest generics manufacturer Aspen Pharmacare is looking to expand in the potentially lucrative US market, as well as throughout Africa. The company has recently opened an office in the US and is investing in a ZAR360mn (US$47.78mn) sterile facility in Port Elizabeth, which will be used to get US accreditation for its products.
