India's Minister for Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath has called for Malaysian drug companies, especially in the bitoech sector, to exploit the opportunities offered by the Indian market. The Indian drug industry was worth US$10.4bn in 2005, and is expanding rapidly. Nath also praised Malaysia's rich biodiversity, which he hopes can be used to develop products for Indian consumers.
