Argentine drugmaker Richmond has become the latest homegrown firm to acquire a manufacturing facility from a multinational, purchasing a plant operated by Germany's Altana AG for a reported US$3.5mn. The deal illustrates local companies' ongoing absorption of significant assets formerly held by multinational manufacturers in the country.
