Meanwhile, drugmakers in Vietnam have asked for permission to raise the selling price of 125 drug categories, according to local press reports, claming that the rising cost of imported raw materials has impacted production costs. The firms have also requested more capital investment in order to upgrade facilities and build plants meeting Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
