Estonia has modified its law on the reimbursement of medicines in an effort to provide savings for the Eesti Haigekassa - the country's health insurance fund. The Ministry of Social Affairs has introduced a minimum two-month supply of medicines rule for patients entitled to 50% reimbursement. Previously, it had been up to doctors' discretion to decide the length of time medicines could be prescribed to
