IDPL Introduces Three New OTC Drugs

News: Government operated pharmaceutical company Indian Drugs and Pharmaceutical (IDPL) has recently introduced three new over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. The drugs include: Mismis, an emergency contraceptive pill, Proxy, a low calorie sweetener, and Idicon, a prescription drug used to treat fungal infection. The firm has also signed a pre-agreement with the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) to make zinc dispersible tablets which will help it deal with child mortality because of Diarrhoea.
