Food And Drug Authority Reaffirming Position
September 2009 | Industry Trend AnalysisThe Ghanaian Food and Drugs Authority has announced that it will continue its efforts to conduct quality controls in order to identify counterfeit and substandard medicines. This reiteration of its mission was revealed during an international workshop in Accra, which included representatives from similar drug regulatory bodies from Mali, Senegal, Uganda, Ethiopia and Madagascar, the World Health Organization (WHO) and other Africa-specific healthcare figures.
