BMI View : The UAE pharmaceutical sector is expected to see limited sales growth from within its home market over the next five years, largely due to its small and slowly growing population which cannot provide the demand necessary for high growth. However, as a business environment in the Middle East, the UAE is attractive to multinationals and regional players looking to build manufacturing sites and use the country as an export base for the ME, Asia, Europe and Africa.
