The main reason for this is that drugmakers have previously failed to supply the market with medicines amid a lack of commercial interest due to the limited quantity required. However, BMI does see an opportunity to negotiate supply terms with more preferable pricing, which authorities and drugmakers may acknowledge as necessary to ensure that essential medicines do not once again disappear from the Bulgarian market.
