Drugmakers To Pay The Insurer To Promote Medicines

BMI View: The introduction of a promotion fund paid directly to Croatia's Health Insurance Institute (HZZO) will not be welcomed by pharmaceutical companies operating in the country. Furthermore, an agreement that limits communication between drugmakers and prescribers will lead to slower penetration of new innovative medicines, inhibiting industry growth.
