Legislative Harmonisation To Benefit Pharmaceutical Trade
January 2011 | Industry Trend AnalysisBMI View: In order to ensure timely and efficient marketing authorisation for imported medicines and to ensure Croatian pharmaceutical export growth is maintained, BMI believes that domestic manufacturers and national regulatory authorities must maintain their efforts to harmonise relevant industry legislation with its main trading partner, the EU. Although Croatia's accession process has added some political impetus, further legislation and resources are required to support the country's pharmaceutical regulators, which ultimately will benefit patients' access to innovative medicines.
