Sanofi-Aventis Receives Approval For OTC Allegra

Sanofi-Aventis has received US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) approval to sell its allergy treatment Allegra (fexofenadine HCl) for over-the-counter (OTC) use in adults and children aged two years and above. The Allegra family of products will be available in drug, grocery, mass merchandise and club stores in the US without a prescription as of March 2011.
