BMI View: Although Peru has still to overcome several institutional shortcomings in public services, the country's promising economic outlook and its government's commitment to increased investment in the healthcare sector will be factors contributing to the improvement of Peru's pharmaceutical business environment. We believe that, over the next decade, drugmakers and medical device firms will enjoy revenue growth in the country, in the light of current efforts to achieve greater health coverage and improved health indicators.
