Sustainable Long-Term Economic Growth Needed To Support Public Services

Moreover, with the increasing financial burden of the growing demand for healthcare, the country must revise its long-term strategy to decrease its fiscal deficit while still being able to support public services. Like other Latin American countries, Colombia must diversify its export industry and reduce reliance on revenues from commodities if it is to achieve sustainable growth and development.
