Biopharmaceutical Exports Forging Ties In Latin America

According to the Andean country's Health and Sports Minister, Nila Heredia Miranda, the Cuban drugs will help Bolivians battle hepatitis B, influenza, leptospirosis and dengue fever. In line with the Bolivian President Evo Morales's increasingly socialist rhetoric, the strengthening of trade relations between Cuba and Latin America is an ongoing process in which pharmaceuticals and healthcare are playing an important role.
