Organ Trafficking Crackdown Treats Symptoms Not The Disease

Tougher regulations are likely to push the practice further underground but a regulated trade in body parts, which would offer donors better protection, is seen as unethical. If governments could be persuaded of the advantages of a regulated compensation scheme there could be an increase in successful transplants and a fall in the demand for life support devices such as dialysis
