BMI View: The introduction of a new method to calculate drug prices in Greece will increase some drug prices and reduce others. The industry's reaction to the pricing method has so far been mixed. Novartis has been highly critical, claiming it is facing extensive drug price cuts, while GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has said that should its appeals be successful, drug prices will be approximately the same level as before the emergency measures.
