BMI View: Aspen Pharmacare Holdings has overpaid for the generic drug business of Sigma Pharmaceuticals. Although the South African drugmaker has gained about a quarter of Australia's promising generic drug market, there are under-appreciated regulatory risks and macroeconomic downsides in the country. We also note political uncertainty ahead of Australia's general election.
