Nycomed & GE Healthcare Form JV For Diagnostics

Swiss drugmaker Nycomed and US-based GE Healthcare have established a joint venture (JV) to sell, market and distribute medical diagnostic contrast agents in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The collaboration fits broadly within two of BMI's core views for the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industry, namely that development and marketing of therapeutics in combination with diagnostics will become more common and that emerging markets will drive industry
