President Pushes for Supply Chain Improvements
April 2010 | Industry Trend AnalysisThe president of Zambia has announced that the Ministry of Health must increase regulation and efficiency of the pharmaceutical supply chain in the country, and the Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia (PSZ) has voiced support. In BMI's view, supply chain issues are a major deterrent to multinational drugmakers. Domestic manufacturing is also hindered by poor distribution, making investing in production more risky.
