Searle Pakistan Looks Overseas For Growth

BMI believes the strategy adopted by Searle Pakistan is advisable given the challenging operating environment in the South Asian country. The Karachi-based drugmaker dramatically boosted exports to frontier markets and subsequently inflated sales in H1 of fiscal 2009/10. We would therefore encourage other pharmaceutical companies based in Pakistan to look abroad for growth opportunities.
