Pharmaceutical Market To Post Double-Digit Growth Over Next Decade

The Peruvian pharmaceutical market is expected to show stronger than expected growth in 2010, based on figures released for 2009. According to the Comité de Productos para la Salud and Ciencias Afines (Committee for Health Products and Related Sciences: Comsalud) and La Cámara de Comercio de Lima (Chamber of Commerce: CCL) the pharmaceutical market has recorded sales of US$1.03bn for 2009, an increase of nearly 8.5% on the previous year.
