Hikma To Increase Presence In Tunisia

Jordanian generic drugmaker Hikma has announced that it plans to purchase additional shares in Tunisian pharmaceutical firm Ibn Al Baytar which will see it accumulate a 66% controlling stake. The decision is unsurprising considering Hikma's desire to extend its footprint in MENA through acquisitions in order to gain a minimum 5% market share in each country.
