Plavix/Aspirin Combination Pill Approved

Sanofi-Aventis and Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) have received European approval for the dual antiplatelet combination tablet DuoPlavin/DuoCover (clopidogrel + acetylsalicylic acid), indicated for the prevention of atherothrombotic events in adult patients already taking both clopidogrel and acetylsalicylic acid.
