Medical Services Expenditure To Exceed US$250bn Within Five Years

Healthcare spending in Canada is forecast to increase from CAD221bn (US$176bn) in 2009 to CAD235bn (US$182bn) in 2010. Due to the strengthening Canadian dollar, this equates to growth of 6.2% in local currency terms and 5.4% in US dollar terms.
