Canadian drugmaker Paladin Laboratories has entered the South African pharmaceutical market with the acquisition of 34.99% of Pharmaplan. Pharmaplan is a South African importer and distributor of pharmaceutical and speciality biotechnology products in the country, and therefore we believe the development signals a definitive commitment by the Canadian drugmaker to enter a key African market.
