Regional Intellectual Property Regime Improves

Asia Pacific's respect for intellectual property rights with regard to medicine has improved marginally over the past 12 months, according to the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA)'s Special 301 Submission 2010 to the United States Trade Representative (USTR). The Philippines and Australia have been upgraded to 'Priority Watch' and 'Watch List' countries respectively.
