Healthcare Not Accessible To All

Healthcare spending in Egypt is expected to rise from US$8.51bn in 2009 to reach US$12.7bn by 2014, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.3% in US dollar terms and 4.3% in Egyptian pounds. Public sector healthcare expenditure will only account for 47.2% of all healthcare spending in the country by 2014, amounting to US$6bn.
