Egis To Rival Richter In Biosimilars Market
February 2010 | Industry Trend AnalysisHungarian generics firm Egis has acquired distribution rights for biosimilar products from South Korean biotechnology company Celltrion across markets in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The deal includes eight unspecified biosimilar products, with exclusive marketing rights in the five largest CIS countries, in addition to non-exclusive distribution in 12 additional countries in the region.
