Aspen And Eli Lilly Sign US$1mn License Agreement

South African generic drugmaker Aspen Pharmacare has signed an agreement worth US$1mn with Eli Lilly to manufacture tuberculosis (TB) medicines, including one type specifically for patients with multi-drug resistant TB. BMI believes that the deal highlights Aspen's continued drive to engage in licence deals to bolster sales.
