Rusnano To Pioneer Nanopack Drugs

The Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (Rusnano) has unveiled a RUB831mn (US$27mn) project to create nanoparticle drug delivery systems for medicines. The project, which will run from 2010-2015, aims to produce anti-inflammatory drugs, diuretics and statins, with the first series of drugs to be brought to market in either 2011 or 2012.
