Price Regulations Introduced For Non-Reimbursed Medicines
January 2010 | Industry Trend AnalysisPrices of non-reimbursed prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines in Lithuania could decrease by 10-15% following alterations to the countries pricing methodology to be introduced on April 1 2010. The Lithuanian parliament voted 80-1 in favour of the price caps, with four abstentions. In order to prevent any preceding price increases, the Ministry of Health has begun recording product prices up to the implementation date.
