Underappreciated Swine Flu Drug To Be Produced Next Year

The Hanoi University of Pharmacy is to produce Fludon H1 (arbidol) in 2010 to combat swine flu. This development is significant because the medicine is underappreciated in developed states. Given the cost benefit of Fludon H1, BMI believes that other emerging markets with the necessary pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities may emulate the Vietnamese academic institution.
