New Cost-Benefit Analysis Method For Medicines Developed By the IQWiG

Germany's Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Healthcare (IQWiG) has developed a new drug cost-benefit assessment method. Previously, the health technology assessment body's sole role was to evaluate a drug's benefit, but in 2007 the institute was mandated to create methods by which the cost-benefit relationship of drugs could be assessed.
