The US firm contends that the results of a health economic sub-study of the TRITON-TIMI 38 clinical trial, published in Circulation[1] showed Effient, which was developed and is co-promoted by Daiichi Sankyo, was more cost-effective, and in most cases cost saving among patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS) managed with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), including stenting.
